Khimloga Pass -2024, Uttarakhand – GoClimbUp
Very difficult to stab Khimloga Pass is dazzled by the geographical changes and the trails are remote to even seasoned climbers and locals. At an elevation of 5100 metres in Dhauladhar range which is amidst Kinnaur and Uttarakhand, there are many ridges located at Dhauladhar which connects Baspa to Uttarakhand, but the trails are untouched and are affected by the Geographical changes.
It was said that, seemingly uncrushable because of the crevassed glaciers, snow fields and steep rocky walls, this pass has been traversed by only one expedition team.
On 18th Aug 2020, GoClimbUp Professional mountaineer Prashant Rawat skilfully traversed this Herculean trek and listed his name against this unique adventure. He emphasizes that because of the massive glaciers, snow fields and steep rocky rivers wall this pass is a complete package for adventure. One must be a trekking enthusiast and passion to make it through.
