Dev Kyara Trek – Offbeat Trek || 2024
The Devkyara trek is a popular trekking route located in the state of Sanakri, Uttarakhand. The word Dev Kyara means Settling point for God. It is known for its breathtaking landscapes, pristine meadows, and stunning views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks. It is a relatively new or lesser-known trek in Uttarakhand
The trek takes 5 days to complete, with a total distance of 35 kilometers. The highest point on the trek is Dev Kyara Bugyal, which is at an altitude of 4100 meters. The trek passes through a variety of landscapes, including alpine meadows, forests, and glaciers.
It is also a destination for trekking as well as camping. In spring, the greenery of the grasslands and red and pink rhododendrons are contrasted. In winters, the Bugyal turns into snow land with the capability of skiing and snow activities. The trek is open throughout the year except during the monsoon. Views of the Garhwal Himalayas, including Bandarpunch , and Swargarohini, can be seen from the Devkyara trek
